Destiny has interesting (sometimes funny) ways of bringing two souls together. How Sheena and Peter met is truly one of the love stories that need to be told. We are saving that when we post their wedding photos this October.
It was a perfect weather to do an engagement photoshoot for this amazing couple. While we have already met Sheena twice before this engagement session, we have not met Peter ever until this shoot. Usually, it is always the bride-to-be who would outdo the groom. This was certainly not the case for this session. Well, let us slightly rectify that statement. Peter, without a doubt, pulled off the dramatic shots better than Sheena (peace yo, Sheena!). Sheena need not do much 'angle and projection' because for some reason, every frame we got for her seems just perfect. She was effortless. Add to that, Sheena was incredibly gorgeous after she was done with her make up. It was a simple yet very elegant looking make up; not too heavy but with enough coveage. While we brought some props, they also brought theirs. We just love the turn out of this photoshoot!
PJ and Joy were referred to us by our client, RJ and Max. They booked us barely 2 months before their wedding day so you can only just imagine how we fast tracked everything. Meeting them is one of the best things that happened to our business in 2014. First, they were our clients. Then, we became friends. Now, we are business partners. If any of you needs a photobooth service, you can get in touch with JoyfullyYours; mention that you were referred by Russ and Thet Studio (their wedding photographers, of course!) and we are more than 100% sure that they will give you a great deal. Their wedding blog post is already lined up so stay tuned. For now, here is their DTLA and Griffith Observatory Engagement session. :)
